Finally…a baby badger

I’ve been a bit sick for the last week or so – and haven’t been able to get out and about as much as I would like. However I put the trail cam for 24 hours at the most local badger sett to us (code named the “milk parlour” sett) and here are the results.   This is my image of the week!

At my friend Tom B’s house a great spotted woodpecker has shown some funny behaviour. It will grab a whole peanut from their bird feeder and put it in a crack in the post.  Then it will peck at it taking small bite-size pieces from its convenient spot. Apparently now the crack is getting bigger and bigger thanks to the woodpecker.  So I set up my trail cam to have a look. Here are the results and I’ve chosen this as my image of the week for this week:
