Bird of Prey nest

A few days ago, my brother and I were exploring in the woods when we came across a large coniferous tree (I think it’s a Douglas Fir) with a large nest about 75 cm in diameter  (possibly smaller) sitting about 10 metres up in the tree.buzzard-nest-closeup
