Wildlife in my local patch

2015 – Wildlife Aims and Ideas

winter

It’s the start of a new year so I’ve been thinking about what I want to try and achieve or try to see this year. There are so many things I don’t really know where to start… but here’s a few.

Continue to chart the seasons in our local wood
Goshawk hunting – I am determined to see one in my local patch after finding a plucking post last year
Find more evidence of foxes – I would love to discover a den if possible and try to film it
Better photography all round. I am saving for a new camera and hope to be able to put some better closer photos on the blog
Find 100 wildlife things in my back garden
Put up an owl box I made with my Grandpa last year and hopefully see something take up residence
Trips/holidays – living in the country we always like to see the sea on holiday and catch up with the sea birds.

There’s loads more but I’ll post them later in the year… If anyone has any suggestions for wildlife “must-sees” in Hampshire please let me know.
