It definitely feels autumnal when the fungi appears. As if by magic they suddenly emerge overnight and often look like little villages for fungi elves.  One tree in the wood was completely surrounded in its root system.  I’ve been away for the last few days on a school trip to France but here’s a few of the best that we found this week.
