Peregrines at Chichester Cathedral

Today we went to Chichester to see if the peregrine falcons were still there. They have been nesting at the cathedral since 2001 and have become quite an attraction. However we were a little late this year and the babies had fledged a couple of months ago. Despite assurances that we wouldn’t see any birds from the cathedral shop, we did however see one soaring over the spire in the blue sky when we sat down to wait and watch.  It was too quick to film though.  We’ll have to be earlier next year.
